Christmas in Idaho

This year Jacob and I spent Christmas and New Years in Twin Falls. We had so much fun with our families and friends! Jacob said the 10-day vacation would feel like forever, but our trip flew by and before we knew it we were headed back to Minnesota.

For Christmas Jacob got a footbath/massager (manly,..I know), golf stuff, clothes, shoes, and some movies. But what he wanted most of all was a trip to Vegas with the guys. Being the wonderful wife that I am, I let him go during our Christmas vacation and even over our anniversary. They stayed in a nice hotel, went out to eat, went to a show, and went golfing,..... amongst other things.

I picked out most of my own Christmas presents but Jacob surprised me with a pink plaid Ogio golf bag and Nike golf cleats. They are so cute! I can't wait to use them!

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my parents house this year.

It's always tradition to have my Grandma Andreason stay the night at our house on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas morning, Olivia got a pink backpack, a purse, a kitty, and a horse as well as other gifts to satisfy her love for coloring.

One of my favorite things was getting Livi in the kitchen with me to help me cook on Christmas morning. It was so funny to watch her mimic me as I cooked. I hope she grows to love cooking as much as I do! She also helped me wash the dishes by "stirring the bubbles" (as she calls it) with a wooden spoon. Thanks mom for teaching her that. It makes dish washing so much quicker and more efficient.

Christmas afternoon we went over to Scott and Nyla's house and opened gifts.
Jayden
Hannah
Kurtis, Jolene, and their kids also came to visit on Christmas. On Sunday, we ate dinner at the Jensens. It was fun for Nyla to have all of her kids together (Jolene, Jacob, Ben, and Jayden).

Over our vacation we went out to eat, went bowling, and played board games.

Jacob, me, and Sam (Ryan and Retha's son) at the bowling alley

I was so happy when I finally convinced my family to play Pictionary with  me!!!

4th Wedding Anniversary!!
Jacob and I celebrated our 4th anniversary this year. The time has gone by so fast! Nyla could hardly believe it. She thought we had been married for three years. For my birthday last August, Jacob gave me the best card I have ever received. I love it so much that I often reread it. I decided to share it and reword it a little bit to fit Jacob for our anniversary! So here goes.....

For my Husband

You are...
my wake-up kiss.
my mid-day chat.
my "Did you hear?"
my "How 'bout that!"
