Trip to Idaho

I recently went on a trip home to see my new nephew Collin. It was so amazing to be able to see my family and the new baby. The trip went by way too fast and before I knew it I was back in Minnesota again. Here a few highlights from my trip there.

Collin wrapped up in the baby blanket I made for him.

I made Olivia replicas of everything I made for Collin, so that she could work alongside mom with her baby dolls. I made her a baby blanket, mini burp cloth, and mini bib. It was so fun to see her play with them!

Livi was sooo excited to have a sleep over with her aunt Ra Ra (me). She was so giddy and hyper. I absolutely loved when she would wake up in the mornings and crawl over to my bed and snuggle with me. So adorable!
What aunt wouldn't want to do their niece's hair. Especially when it's this long and beautiful!

I promised Livi I would take her swimming one day. We coincidentally, had matching swimming suits. I bought her some yellow goggles and a floatie. For the next few days she walked around insisting on wearing those yellow goggles even though we weren't swimming. What a character!

We went out to eat quite a bit, so that I could catch up on all the restaurants I miss in Twin Falls. Here we are at La Fiesta!
We also went out to eat with my grandma Andreason, Grandma Olga, and aunt Portia.  It's always good to catch up.
Homemade play dough that we made into a fake hamburger.
I mustache you a question...
Livi, dad, Collin, and mom
I can't believe how big the shrubbery is getting around my house. It's like I haven't been home in 20 years! Now only if my bushes would grow like that!

Nyla was at girls camp most of the week I was visiting, but I got to spend some time with her and Jacob's family. It was her birthday over the time she was at girls camp. This dress and necklace was our gift to her. She looked beautiful in it! So stylish'!

I feel like my trip went by way too fast. The day I left, I was already missing my family. It was so much fun getting to spend time with them and I feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life. I truly am the luckiest girl in the world!

  2. Glad you had so much fun! You're so talented! And those bushes have gotten big! I remember when the one on the left just reached the top of the porch fence. Cute blog background and title, too!
